Why me? was asked by The Huffington Post, online newspaper to contribute to a series called ‘A Life Less Ordinary’ which shares first person experience of life changing events.

The network of contacts and colleagues within the Restorative Justice (RJ) community was key resulting collaboration with the Lancashire Constabulary RJ Manager and the introduction to Sandra Poole.
Sandra’s son Tom was killed at a party and she took the decision to meet with his killers and explained the reasons why and the impact of the meeting. You can read Sandra’s story here.
