International Restorative Justice Week 2017

Another year has flown by and as an organisation supporting victims’ access to RJ, we have championed this cause across England and Wales, supporting good practice, lobbying for better access and providing direct support for individuals. Our focus this week will be on Valuing Victims Part 2 report, RJ and Hate Crime and the Parole Board. We are looking forward to supporting the work of amazing practitioners, victim ambassadors and local RJ services. Below is our schedule. Be sure to say hello.

Tuesday 21st

Publication of Part II of the Valuing Victims Report.

Laura will be attending the Restorative Justice Council AGM in London and networking with RJ Practitioners from across the country.

Director Lucy Jaffe and Why me? ambassador Paul Kohler will be making the case for RJ at the London Mayor’s Victim Summit.

Peter Woolf will presenting to the RJ Team in Lancashire at their RJ Week conference.

Wednesday 22nd

Lucy and Laura will be attending ‘Strengthening our Communities’ Brighton and Hove City Council Conference where they will be launching Access to Justice: RJ and hate crime.

Thursday 23rd

Rosalyn Boyce has been nominated for the Inspiring Communicator of the Year Award for her advocacy work within the RJ community. She will be attending the CharityComms awards evening with Lucy.
