Why me? July E-Newsletter Edition

Published: Thursday, July 6th, 2017

Here is a summary of all our Policy, Campaigns and Service work from the past four weeks.

Through variable weather and political landscapes, we’ve been hard at it ploughing ahead with our Restorative work. The Valuing Victims Campaign 2017 has resulted in two essential reads for Police and Crime Commissioners, Victim services and Restorative Justice (RJ) practitioners about how to successfully introduce more victims to RJ. There have also been multiple enquiries and casework about complex and serious crimes handled by our RJ Service Coordinators and facilitators. It is never a dull day, especially when we have to keep an eye on changes in policy, such as the proposal to cut RJ questions from the British Crime Survey. Read July’s edition in full.
