Case Supervision
We are excited to announce our new peer case supervision group. Designed for up to eight case supervisors from different restorative services, the group will initially meet online four times across a year, starting in June. The content of each session will very much be led by the needs of the group but topics could include supervision of complex and sensitive cases and discussing common problems that we all experience as supervisors. Each session will be for up to two hours, online. The group will be facilitated by an experienced restorative practitioner and case supervisor, registered with the Restorative Justice Council. The group will be run on restorative principles.
What will I get out of attending?
- Feel more confident about providing case supervision, particularly in complex and sensitive cases.
- Learn about how to and adapt practical solutions to the issues you encounter.
- Network with colleagues from restorative services across England and Wales.
Learning Objectives:
- To provide peer support to colleagues who work in similar roles as case supervisors of restorative practitioners.
- To discuss case supervision of complex and sensitive cases.
- To problem solve, for example, when there have been instances of harm between facilitators or when there are barriers to taking forward a restorative process.
