One key element of Restorative Justice is dialogue. Through facilitated restorative processes, people can give their account of what happened, discuss what matters most to them, and share what they want to happen in the future to ensure that their needs are addressed.

Rory struggled with substance abuse and mental health from the age of 14. Right after his 21st birthday, he was arrested. Participating in a Restorative Justice programme changed his entire perspective.
